We depend on “ethical management” to guide us when making decisions involving value judgments in all
management activities. By doing so, we are improving our management performance in a fair and transparent way.
With the Ethics Charter declared in April 2003, we are endeavoring to minimize illegal acts and risks caused by a lack of ethics among
employees and partners and we are also conducting activities based systematically on the Ethics Guideline by forming a separate and
objective organization to enforce ethical management.
Hanwha Chemical operates an Ethical Management Committee chaired by the CEO. The Ethical Management Practice Secretariat
supervises the management activities conducted throughout the company. The mission of the Secretariat is to promote awareness of the value
of ethical management principles through raising awareness on a regular basis so that all employees can practice ethical management.
Hanwha Chemical has an Ethics Guideline that focuses on respecting customers and abiding by laws and customary commercial practices.
We use it to propose action guidelines and standards for value judgment for all stakeholders. In addition, we promote ethical management
by sending out corporate-wide notices and text messages to propose standards of behaviors and ethical judgment.
