Hanwha Volunteers

Hanwha has been building strong trust with local communities based on its founding principle of "contributing to the society and nation through business" and its philosophy of "trust and loyalty." By going further together, rather than alone faster, Hanwha fulfills its social responsibilities as an earnest corporate citizen.

Vision & Mission

"Make a Brighter World"
Fund

"Make a Brighter World" is a fund-raising activity done through the voluntary participation of Hanwha employees. The fund supports employees in need, senior citizens who live alone, juvenile breadwinners, social welfare facilities, and diverse volunteer activities as part of fulfilling our social responsibilities and the effort to build a caring world.

Energy Class for Tomorrow

We offer “Energy Class for Tomorrow” to elementary school children since 2013.
The “Energy Class for Tomorrow” allows children to gain an understanding for energy, an indispensable asset for humanity, learn about measures to save energy, and acquire first-hand experience on renewable energy for a pollution-free future.

So far, 13,500 children from more than 190 schools and welfare facilities have participated in the program. Children had the chance to familiarize themselves with different concepts of energy and gain first-hand experience on generating electricity purely through sunlight by engaging in activities to make solar cars and ships. We will continue in our efforts to fill the Energy Class with even more interesting and helpful contents and demonstrate that education can change the world into a better place and create a sustainable future.
